Born and raised in Amarillo, Denise Stephenson is passionate about helping local businesses attract and retain top-tier talent. This drive led her to become a Group Benefits Risk Consultant, where she works with clients to create benefits packages that distinguish them from other employers. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Denise is a certified Healthcare Customer Service Associate, Certified Self-Funding Specialist, and Certified Insurance Counselor. Her expertise allows her to find the right mix of benefits for her clients, and her talent for simplifying complex health insurance terminology makes her a trusted advisor.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Management from West Texas A&M University (WTAMU), where she developed strong leadership and strategic thinking skills that continue to guide her career.
Denise is the true embodiment of servant leadership, a value that is central to her work and life. She is dedicated to helping others, both professionally and personally. Outside of her career, Denise serves on the Board for Soroptimist International of Amarillo and as Treasurer for the Caprock Alumni Scholarship Foundation. She also volunteers regularly with organizations such as the Downtown Women’s Center, High Plains Food Bank, and Sharing Hope Ministry. Above all, Denise is the proud mother of triplets, bringing the same dedication and care to her family as she does to her clients and community.
