Join Us To Hear About the State of Amarillo’s Economy
January 22, 2020
7:30 to 9 a.m.
Amarillo Civic Center Heritage Room
We’re proud to announce that NCW is sponsoring the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation’s second annual State of the Economy event on January 22. The event is an opportunity for leaders from across the region to hear about Amarillo’s economic outlook for the coming year.
This year’s event brings Dr. Ray Perryman, President and CEO of The Perryman Group, to discuss the macroeconomic factors that affect the Amarillo economy. The Perryman Group has worked with more than half of the Fortune 100 businesses, 10 US Cabinet departments and the nine largest firms in the United States to provide research and analysis into economic issues. Dr. Perryman has a lot of experience with the Amarillo economy from his years of engagement in research projects in our area.
Attendees will also hear from the CEO of the Amarillo EDC, Kevin Carter, who will share an update on Amarillo’s economic outlook in 2020. The event will wrap up with a panel discussion with Dr. Perryman and local business and economic experts, which will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and hear additional insights.
NCW was a sponsor of the inaugural State of the Economy event last February. We chose to sponsor the event again this year because of the impact it had on attendees last year. The audience was filled with decision makers from every facet of the community, and each attendee left with new insights about our economy and what we can do together to make Amarillo a more attractive and economically vibrant city. The opportunities for connection between business leaders and the knowledge shared at this event make it an important part of our plan to give back to Amarillo in ways that make good things happen for our business community.
The State of the Economy event is a great opportunity to reflect on the successes of the last year, as well as to celebrate how our downtown revitalization efforts have come together for the benefit of our city.
At NCW, we’re passionate about the overall growth of Amarillo, and sponsoring events like these are one of the ways we believe in doing our part to help Amarillo develop and grow stronger. We’ve been proud to sponsor many events that improve the fabric of our community, and we plan to continue supporting the efforts that make Amarillo an even better place to live, from arts and culture to the continued revitalization of downtown.
We hope all of our customers and friends throughout the Panhandle can join us for the State of the Economy event from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on January 22 in the Heritage Room of the Amarillo Civic Center.
